About Me

As a professional English language editor, I am passionate about my job and hold myself to the highest standards of accuracy, honesty, and fairness. I love helping writers refine their original pieces into exceptional manuscripts while maintaining their unique voice and style.  

With a PhD in archaeological science and a passion for teaching, my first language editing experiences were as a Graduate Tutor at Memorial University’s Writing Centre. For over eight years since then, I have helped my friends and colleagues enhance and refine their writing through English language tutoring, editing, and proofreading.

I have also written, published, and reviewed academic articles and book chapters published in high-ranking international venues (see my ResearchGate and Academia.edu profiles or download my CV). Drawing on these experiences, I specialize in editing and providing advice on publishing academic manuscripts. I also enjoy editing other forms of writing, including resumes/CVs, funding applications, website content, and music lyrics, among others. My clients are also diverse, ranging from students, professors, and private researchers to professionals, artists, and musicians in both Canada and internationally.
